About Our Church

Moses Lake Presbyterian Church has a long (100 years +) history in the Moses Lake community.  Throughout these years, many faithful community and church leaders have come together to build a legacy of love and service. Today, we continue following that legacy as we seek to love Jesus passionately and serve our community and world with generosity and compassion.

We are a church who believes in reaching seekers and building believers. None of this is doable without leaning on God— what He has done, what He is doing, and what He promises He will do. We are empowered through our security in salvation- by grace, through faith in Christ. We lean on the Holy Spirit and are empowered by Him to do the good works which He has led us to.

Not one of us deserves the grace and mercy of God. We don't deserve the work done by Jesus on the cross. We never could. But while we were still sinners, while we don't deserve it, Christ still died for us so that we could become His righteousness. We are all receivers of the gifts and blessings of God. We all stand side by side, on equal footing, no one higher or better or more deserving. Jesus did this for all of us! Everyone fits and everyone is welcome because we honestly believe every single person, regardless of title, or income, or education, or addiction, or weakness, or situation in life, is of equal and precious value in the eyes of the One who made us and who rescues us.

And we believe that each of us can find healing for our soul and power in Christ to live differently as we trust God and face life together!

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
